What participants are saying about
John Kremer's talks . . .
“John Kremer spoke to us on March 7th about book marketing. He spoke until almost 9:45. A few people grabbed their
cell phones to tell whoever was on the other end that they'd be coming home late, but no one left early. I couldn't and
wouldn't try to summarize everything John said. He mixed some of the practical tips from his book with a perspective that
gives an overarching meaning to all the things we do every day to sell our books. These activities are parts of life and
living, much more a state of mind than a state of desperation. His presentation was enormously and uniquely valuable.
Those who missed this event should be kicking themselves right now.” — Bob Goodman, San Diego Publishers Alliance
“I just spent some time listening to John Kremer speak last night. Wow! If you want to learn every angle to marketing,
listen to John, look for his books, and sign up for his consulting. Anyone who devotes himself so faithfully to his craft
is worth listening to...even just for 15 minutes. He tells you the best things to do and the worst things to do in the most
succinct, common-sense manner. Awesome!” — Valerie Atkinson Brown, author, International Thomson Publishing
“Thank you again for being our speaker for the AMA seminar. I thought you would like to know that the evaluations were absolutely
terrific. On a scale of 1 to 5, your presentation topic and content rated a 4 and your presentation rated a 4.14 with our attendees.” —
Kim Mickelsen, Programming Chair, Omaha Chapter of the American Marketing Association
“I wanted to thank you so much for the presentation you did on the first day of PMA U. You have such a wealth of knowledge and your
sense of humor was perfect after a long day of classes.” — Laura K. Bryant, Crimson Leaf Publishing
“John Kremer was the keynote speaker. He not only gave us many, many tips about marketing, but also through his appealing personality
and presentation skills showed us ways for wowing audiences and selling books. John, I thank you again for sharing your knowledge and
inspiring this 'back of the room sales' cookbook author to new ways to market my books.” — Jane Trittipo, author/publisher,
The Marvelous Microwave: Good Food in Practically No Time
“Many thanks for speaking to our Valley Independent Publishers. We found you very entertaining and certainly knowledgeable....
The audience of members and visitors seemed to hang on to all you had to say.” — Evelyn Barbee, VIP secretary
“The participants' written comments on the program evaluations say it best: Good info. Great value! Good points. In fact, your
evaluation average was 9.03 out of a possible 10!” — Sarita Maybin-Anderson, Program Chair, National Speakers Association,
San Diego Chapter
“Caught your schtick last night at Borders. I was reluctant about missing my Studebaker Drivers Club meeting in favor of your
presentation. I made a good choice. Your passion is pervasive and you inspired me. Don't get all teared up. I figure you are
probably tired of people telling you how encouraging you are but I want to take the risk you won't be bored by my comment. Thanx.”
— Michael McKinney Black
“Every speaker was focused and to the point. John Kremer spoke for two hours, and it seemed like he was just warming up when
we had to stop for lunch. He hung around for the entire today, answering questions cheerfully and generally contributing to an
overall good feel. His support, enthusiasm, and generosity infected everyone. I guarantee that any small publisher's group will
get more than their money's worth if they bring John Kremer in to speak.” — Jon Sievert, author/publisher,
Concert Photography: How to Shoot and Sell Music-Business Photographs

you stood above all the other speakers. You are knowledgeable and your enthusiasm/passion for this business is an inspiration.”

“Most of the attendees hadn't had the chance to hear you before, so the workshop on non-traditional marketing was especially
valuable. You always knock them dead.” — Karen Misuraca, Publisher, Lagoon Publications

marketing that the attendees brought into the conference and your enthusiasm to convey that information to them.” — Barbara Hagen,
President, Florida Publishers Association
“John Kremer deserves the thanks of so many of us. John has set a standard and example, showing us how to keep focused while
looking ahead, be creative while playing by the rules, how to achieve the impossible while approaching our tasks one item at a time,
and how to maintain our integrity while never, ever giving up. Thanks, John, for everything.” — Mary Westheimer
“We received valuable and practical information from a knowledgeable and entertaining speaker, and we met fascinating people
with whom we shared information, experiences, and advice. It was truly a worthwhile expense and experience.” — Frances Keiser, Sagaponack Books
“I bought a $107 course on how to get free publicity a few weeks ago. Unfortunately, it was basically a rehash of material
I'd already purchased. However, the package included 2 audio tapes of a seminar you did (back in '94 I believe) as free bonuses.
The thing is, I learned more from those free audio tapes than from this guy's entire course. I could have saved that money and
have gotten a consultation from you instead. Well, such is life.” — Ray Gailes, Gale Force Press
“John Kremer — He's smart, creative and clever, and he knows how to help you sell books.” — Jon Bard, Editor,
Children's Writing Update!
