As a gift to anyone who has ever paid me as a book marketing coach, I'm offering a free 15-minute follow-up session. That's worth $125.00!

To participate, you must 1) have paid me as a consultant sometime in the past 25 years and 2) you must call me at 575-751-3398 on any of the following Wednesday afternoons (1 to 4 p.m. Mountain Time). Wednesdays: August 26 and September 2, 2009.

Spirit of the Berkshires TV show
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Here is an email I received from a reader about his new TV show . . .
This summer, I've begun hosting a weekly 30-minute interview-format talk show, Spirit of the Berkshires, on a local public access cable TV station. It is now showing on eight additional stations throughout the western Massachusetts region, and the shows are available worldwide on the Internet.
Of the first 5 shows we've done so far, three have been with authors: episode 1 with Louisa Gilder, author of The Age of Entanglement: When Quantum Physics was Reborn; episode 4 with George Gilder, author of The Israel Test; and episode 5 with Richard W. Wise, author of The French Blue. The show is about people with interesting ideas and significant accomplishments in the arts, science, politics, religion, etc, and is not just about books, but being an author myself I am interested in quality written work, especially but not exclusively nonfiction.
To be on the show requires some connection to the region -- it could be someone who lives here, whose work is somehow connected, or is simply coming to the region for an event (such as a book signing or lecture). We film on Thursdays afternoons, every other week, two-shows-at-a-time (4:30 and 5:30). For bookings, I can be reached at andc39@aol.com.
To watch the first four shows (and I hope you, and anyone interested in appearing, will watch the show before contacting me), you can see them at http://www.andrewcort.com/spirit.html.
How one author sells $2.7 million per year online
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Tired of fighting for bookstore distribution? Selling your books online is much more profitable and usually much easier. To learn the strategies one author uses to sell over $2.7 million per year online, join my friend Steve Harrison for a free 90-minute telephone seminar on Thursday, August 27th on: How to Sell at Least $50,000.00 of Books This Year on the Internet.

To register for Thursday's call, which will be offered at your choice of two times - either 2 pm Eastern (11 am Pacific) or 7 pm Eastern (4 pm Pacific) -- go here now: http://www.freeauthortips.com/call005

Here are a few of the things Mr. X will share with you and Steve on Thursday's teleseminar:

* Two strategies most authors are taught about selling online which Mr. X has found simply don't work.

* How Mr. X has convinced over 30,000 people to sell his books for him with no upfront cost.

* A few changes you can make to your website to dramatically increase your book sales within days.

* How to convert your book quickly into a format that can be sold more profitably online.
