Publish an Ebook Today Using Amazon's Kindle - New developments
Don't forget to attend tonight's webinar with Daniel Hall and John Kremer on how to get your ebooks up on Amazon's Kindle platform within an hour.

This webinar is Wednesday, October 6th, at 9:00 p.m. Eastern time, 6:00 p.m. Pacific.

Space is limited. Reserve your free webinar seat now at:

Important facts about the Kindle: 44% of Kindle owners make more than $80,000 a year (Nielson); 83% of their parents would allow or encourage their children to read books on an e-reader (New York Times); 27% of Kindle owners have Master’s degrees or doctorates (Nielson); for every 100 hardcover books Amazon is selling, it sells 143 Kindle ebooks (Jeff Bezos); and some publishers are now considering including advertising in their ebooks (Wall Street Journal).

New developments about ebooks:

=> Barnes & Noble has just launched PubIt!, a digital self-publishing platform that allows authors and self-publishers to publish ebooks for the B&N platforms. The neat thing is that PubIt! will convert your Microsoft Word, text, or HTML files to ePub format at no cost! Details on this new service here: PubIt! support:

=> allows users to convert a blog or website to a PDF, ePub, or Kindle ebook. Try it out. See if it works for you.

=> Amazon now offers a Kindle program to allow anyone to read a Kindle ebook via the web. Details:

=> Read the above Amazon page because it also tells you how you can embed a Kindle ebook sample on your blog or website and earn referral fees from sales.

Don't believe in 10,000,000 eyeballs? How about 15,000 eyeballs?
I've found that many authors hesitate to order my Ten Million Eyeballs course because they don't believe I can deliver on that promise. Alas. So I've decided to offer another, more believable program: Get 15,000 eyeballs in one week or less - my new 15,000 Eyeballs Program. Just $50.00. And you can repeat this program as often as you want to get another 15,000 eyeballs, and another 15,000 eyeballs, and another 15,000 eyeballs, or more! It's a strategy you should be able to implement in one hour or less and duplicate as often as you like.

There is no sales letter for this program. The entire promotion is detailed in the above paragraph. To sign up for this 15,000 Eyeballs Program, click here:

Page 99 Test - Feature a sample page of your book and sell more books
Novelist Ford Madox Ford once said that you can "open the book to page 99 and the quality of the whole will be revealed to you." Someone is now putting his idea to the test by launching in a few weeks. This new site will allow any authors (or aspiring authors) to upload the 99th page of their books and allow readers to comment on whether they would buy or like to read the rest of their books.

Another blog already offers a similar service (although the uploads are moderated). Check out

Check out your own book. Would your page 99 convince you to buy your own book? Test it with other readers and friends. If you like your page 99, then submit it to the above websites. They could help you sell more books.

Book interview and giveaway program
Here's something that Linda Clarke, one of the members of The Book Marketing Network (, is doing that is getting her website some great traffic:

There is something else that I'm doing that seems to be working really well. Every Monday I post an interview of an author with a book giveaway. This seems to attract a lot of people to my site because they want to meet a new author and perhaps win a free book. I just ask the commenter to post something they liked about the interview.

My blog is family friendly, and I only post books that are for children, young adults, and adults who want to read clean books. It's fun and I get to know so many authors this way. I've found out that many authors are just as human as I am. I love it. In fact, I've been receiving requests from authors, asking if I would interview them and host a giveaway of their book. I've even had a few bestselling authors ask for an interview.

So far, I'm now booked up until December. I never imagined this would become so popular. I just thought I would do it for fun, hoping to draw attention to my blog. By the way, we're here to help one another, right? So if there are any authors here at Book Marketing Network that would like me to interview them and let my followers get to know you, I would be glad to. My blog site is

Any author with a website or blog can duplicate what Linda is doing. Invite related authors to an interview and book giveaway. If you need to find some other authors to network with, join the free author network at:
